Customers today expect a personalized experience, which means you need flexibility in your ERP system. E21 ERP allows your manufacturing or distribution company to set preferences and requirements specific to each customer.

For example, a customer can be associated with unlimited billing and shipping locations. Each of these customer locations can have different requirements specified in the system. Additionally, you can create multiple formats for your company’s invoices, packing lists, ASN (advanced shipping notice), bill of lading, and other customer-facing documents. Then, you can assign each customer the document formats that meet their needs. Each document’s delivery method can vary depending on the customer. Documents can be printed, emailed, or sent through E21’s built-in EDI software and EDI VAN services.

If groups of customers share similarities, their preferences can be defined into a sales type default. Then, as new customer records are entered into the system, a user can select the sales type default so that the system automatically populates many fields with the established preferences. Using defaults in E21 creates efficiencies, so your team can quickly set up new customers.

Users with permissions can see the necessary information when interacting with customers using E21 ERP. One central web-based system means all the customer’s information is readily accessible, from pricing and sales data to payment history and past-due invoices. There’s no need for duplicate data entry or data syncing between systems.

Flexible grouping and reporting hierarchies

Leveraging the integrated E21 ERP BI solution, customer accounts can be associated with a four-tiered hierarchy of customer groups for pricing and reporting purposes. Moreover, customer accounts can also roll up into corporate parents, where multiple legal entities are owned by the same enterprise.
