E21 Connect is the E21 ERP vendor portal and is part of E21’s suite of offerings as a full-service EDI VAN provider. E21 Connect enables seamless, electronic communication between suppliers, allowing manufacturers and distributors to streamline their entire procure-to-pay process.

Facilitating procure-to-pay processes

When vendors do not have the technological ability to communicate via EDI, the E21 Connect ERP vendor portal allows suppliers to view, download, and acknowledge purchase orders in one central location. When shipping a purchase order, the supplier can simply record quantities being shipped against the purchase order from the portal. Then, this information is transmitted back to E21 via an EDI ASN transaction. Most importantly, purchasing and planning staff are notified if shipment quantities vary from purchase order quantities. The new amounts expected are factored into the E21 ERP MRP software functions. Following shipping, the supplier can submit invoices through the portal, immediately notifying AP personnel.
