In addition to a fully integrated lot traceability solution, E21 ERP provides an end-to-end serial number and warranty tracking system. With E21, manufacturers and distributors benefit from flexible configuration options for tracking serialized products. Each product can be configured with different rules for maintaining serial numbers, whether the serial numbers are entered during inventory receipt or captured at the time of shipping. Rules for product serialization can also be applied based on product types, allowing for quicker product setup while assuring compliance with product serialization requirements.

Additionally, the system supports the consumption of serialized components in serialized finished goods. This feature allows manufacturing and distribution organizations to achieve full backward traceability.

Track product warranties and repairs

In addition to serial number tracking, E21 allows manufacturing and distribution organizations to set various warranty types and warranty periods for specific items. The built-in help desk function in E21 automatically tracks whether items being serviced or returned are covered under warranty. Users can then generate repair estimates directly within the system utilizing the fully integrated quoting solution.
