Automated QC holds and releases

With E21’s built-in quality control features, raw material and finished goods items can be flagged to be placed on quality hold automatically upon receipt. The system can also send automated alerts to pre-defined users notifying them that the inventory has been put on quality hold.

As part of the E21 ERP inventory management system, an infinite number of product quality grades can be defined. These quality grades can be used to determine if the system should put inventory on hold automatically. The system also allows users to place inventory on hold manually if desired. Moreover, an organization’s business rules can be used with a quality control workflow. The business rules can specify:
