E21 ERP includes fully integrated quality control software functionality to assist manufacturers and distributors across numerous industries with their internal and external product quality and safety requirements. With E21’s built-in quality control features, raw material and finished goods items can be flagged to be placed on quality hold automatically upon receipt. The system can also send automated alerts to pre-defined users notifying them that the inventory has been put on quality hold.

As part of the E21 ERP inventory management system, an infinite number of product quality grades can be defined. These quality grades can be used to determine if the system should put inventory on hold automatically. The system also allows users to place inventory on hold manually if desired. Within E21, product quality tests can be defined for items with set acceptable ranges of values. Data recorded from the test results are then fully integrated with E21’s built-in COA software and COA templates, allowing COAs to be generated on-demand from the quality control software system for a given product and lot. The item tests and specifications can even be used to generate a standard product specification sheet to provide to customers. A pre-defined list of users can be notified when these QC specifications are updated.
