On a product-by-product basis, default units of measure can be defined for various types of transactions, allowing each department, from procurement and manufacturing to inventory and customer service, to transact in a unit of measure for an item that is most relevant to them. Moreover, E21 ERP provides for product and unit of measure specific UPCs that can be used with E21’s built-in GS1-128 labeling software.
