FIFO / FEFO allocation with shelf life inventory management

It’s one thing to know how much inventory you have and how long an item has sat in inventory; it’s another thing to know when that product is no longer usable or acceptable to certain customers. With the E21 ERP system, manufacturers and distributors have complete visibility of each product and lot’s receipt and expiration dates. Moreover, automated rules and processes can be set to alert QC personnel to retest a specific lot on pre-defined intervals to ensure a product continues to meet quality specifications. Most importantly, customer-specific shelf life requirements can be specified by customer and product combination.
