Workbenches in E21 are user-defined, user-built screens. The E21 workbench designer allows end users to build their own inquiry screens without any modification to the underlying source code of the application. As part of the E21 ERP business intelligence offering, the workbench designer leverages a powerful SQL builder that allows users to pull their desired data together in a consolidated view that can then be viewed on a screen.
Tailor user security permissions and workflows
Workbenches inherit all base E21 screen characteristics, meaning they can be added to the E21 menu and made available to users based on individual user or user group permissions. Moreover, using the E21 ERP workflow designer, users can navigate from workbench screens to other screens in the system and vice versa, allowing system administrators to create and customize multiple user navigation flows throughout the application.
